ENTRAR AL JUEGO

The feminine universe was the main focus of “DeFlamencas”. His second scenic creation “Tránsito”, springs from the need to look inside oneself. After this artistic bridge he was inspired by actions and relations between men calling this last work “Laberíntica”. ENTRAR AL JUEGO deals with intergenerational relations, inviting artists at different stages of their lives, origins, technique and artistic experience to take part in this project.

Unlike other dance galas, where artists gathered at the same event are given hierarchy and methodology to compose the performance, in ENTRAR AL JUEGO Marco Flores wants to make everyone part of a common creation, where every artist is essential for the scenic development of the others. This is indeed a peculiar way of understanding flamenco choreography. ENTRAR AL JUEGO is not about age, experience or the status of the people who take part in it, every artist will find their way to circulate, stay and continue along the different stages, individually or as a group. This will be the distintive feature of ENTRAR AL JUEGO.

Marco Flores as dancer and choreographer, along with Juan Carlos Lérida in the stage and choreographic direction will make the artists dance in a timeless space. When entering the game (which is the name of the show) we will witness how people transform themselves when facing the need to continue, when figuring out mysteries. A place where you can´t nor want to escape from , a place where there´s no clear purpose of being, but you´re there and you have to continue.
